The Hollywood Insider The Hiltons History and Descendants

When you think of the Hilton family today, you probably think of influencers such as Paris Hilton and Nicky (Hilton) Rothschild. You might even think of the extensive hospitality businesses somewhat owned by the family, Hilton Hotels Corporation, founded and created by Conrad Hilton in 1919. The Hilton family history is extensive, so today we will be talking about Conrad Hilton and his son, William Barron Hilton’s history. Conrad Hilton is one of seven and was born in New Mexico in 1887 to parents Augustus Halvorsen Hilton and Mary Genevieve Laufersweiler. Conrad Hilton and his first wife had their second son, William Barron Hilton in 1927.   He would ultimately become the successor of the Hilton businesses in 1966. Conrad Hilton made it a point in his will that his descendants would only have a small piece of his fortune, donating the rest to the family charity, the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation. Following his father’s wishes, William Barron Hilton also famously left a small piece of his acquired fortune to his descendants and left the majority once again to the family charity. William Barron Hilton, born in 1927, and his wife Marilyn Hawley had many children, including Richard Hilton, father of Paris and Nicky Hilton.

The Hilton Family Future

As mentioned before, Conrad Hilton has many descendants, which means the family will remain in the spotlight for decades to come. The Hilton family has had a significant impact on society through their many ventures. I am curious to see what the family does next and continue to hope that Kathy Hilton will make another appearance on ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.’ Paris Hilton will be seen next in ‘Sorry or What Could Have Been’ with Chris Zylka, directed by Ramez Silvan. Paris will also be seen in ‘Paris’in Sirri’ with Safak Sezer, directed by Baris Denge, and in ‘China Game’ with Zuyang Sun, directed by Jaycee Chan.

An excerpt from the love letter: The Hollywood Insider’s CEO/editor-in-chief Pritan Ambroase affirms, We have the space and time for all your stories, no matter who/what/where you are. Media/Cinema/TV have a responsibility to better the world and The Hollywood Insider will continue to do so. Talent, diversity and authenticity matter in Cinema/TV, media and storytelling. In fact, I reckon that we should announce “talent-diversity-authenticity-storytelling-Cinema-Oscars-Academy-Awards” as synonyms of each other. We show respect to talent and stories regardless of their skin color, race, gender, sexuality, religion, nationality, etc., thus allowing authenticity into this system just by something as simple as accepting and showing respect to the human species’ factual diversity. We become greater just by respecting and appreciating talent in all its shapes, sizes, and forms. Award winners, which includes nominees, must be chosen on the greatness of their talent ALONE.

I am sure I am speaking for a multitude of Cinema lovers all over the world when I speak of the following sentiments that this medium of art has blessed me with. Cinema taught me about our world, at times in English and at times through the beautiful one-inch bar of subtitles. I learned from the stories in the global movies that we are all alike across all borders. Remember that one of the best symbols of many great civilizations and their prosperity has been the art they have left behind. This art can be in the form of paintings, sculptures, architecture, writings, inventions, etc. For our modern society, Cinema happens to be one of them. Cinema is more than just a form of entertainment, it is an integral part of society. I love the world uniting, be it for Cinema, TV, media, art, fashion, sport, etc. Please keep this going full speed.
